033 Microstation with Magne Conan

The orignal version of this site doesn't have any information or pics on this item, so I grabbed some auction pics to at least have some reference. This looks like a fun base and in the spirit of the Micro Change line, represents a household object. In this case, a gaming system, complete with controller! Quite a neat feature. The included figure, Conan, is exclusive to the set.

The set transforms into a somewhat recognizable silhuoette - the vintage Surveyor 3 (or Star Defender for you 'Nauts fans)! Also, extending out from the flanks of the video game console, a race track. Takara also tried to market the Zenmine as vehicles for the Micro-Station track (which were the same as Choro Q car tracks). This race track feature definitely calls back to the Gimca sets, and perhaps even the Road Station base.
